abstract = {{The photoinjector plays an important role in generating high brightness low emittance electron beam for x-ray free electron laser applications. In this paper, we report on beam dynamics optimization study of a low emittance photoinjector based on a proposed superconducting gun without including any buncher cavities. Multi-objective optimization with self-consistent beam dynamics simulations was employed to attain the optimal Pareto front.}},
